Neverland Zimbabwe: The biggest electro-dance party of the year
Zimbabwe is a country of diverse races and cultures making it a very colourful nation. When it comes to music and culture Zimbabweans have had various influences from different cultures from the continent of Africa to the USA, Europe and the rest of the world. In current trends the most popular music genre at the moment is dance, or electro-dance which has seen a number of artistes including Ne-yo, Rihanna, Usher, Britney Spears, Black Eyed Peas mixing it up or crossing over from their own genres. In Zimbabwe dance music is commonly played on a radio programme called "The Hidden Culture", with club DJ and radio personality, Jason LeRoux. So to pay homage to dance music, The Hidden Culture created a dance music festival like no other; one to escape reality and take you to a world of fantasy created by music.

Urban Diktionary

Urban Diktionary So for most of the year some of us have been busy working hard to try to achieve those New Year's resolutions. Some too busy to go out and have fun. But since this is the season of sharing, maybe some of you should get out of your shells and celebrate with everybody else. Our word from our dictionary is the acronym LP. Okay so because this is a music magazine, you would be thinking LP as in long play but LP in our dictionary stands for Low profile.
Word: LP Meaning: Low Profile. Keeping oneself out of the public, or not being available on the social scene.

G Music: Pastor G

Pastor GMy first encounter with this powerful man of God was when I was 13 years old, attending an inter-denominational evening service by Baines Avenue in Harare. He was part of the praise and worship team called Alpha Praise which also included Tinashe Murembeni, the Mutambira brothers, Heavens and Andrew and Pardon. He is known as Pastor G in musical circles, but back then, Pastor Stanley Gwanzura was known as Pastor Stan.  Not only can he sing, but this man is a powerful man of the Word who has had great influence on the gospel music scene and in ministry. With so many years on the music scene, Pastor G continues with his calling of using his voice to praise, worship and spread the gospel of the good news. Born Stanley Gwanzura in Lusaka, Zambia in 1970 when his parents were in exile from the then Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) during the war of liberation. He did his early education in Zambia and the later in Zimbabwe, when his family moved back to Zimbabwe. A proud born again Christian…

We Can't Stop-Miley Cyrus
If the transition from being a teen idol to adulthood is going to turn out to be Miley Cyrus, then Disney should be shut down. We loved the haircut but the dressing and behaviour by the former "Hannah Montana" star is not what adulthood is about. We bet Rihanna was actually laughing at this year's MTV VMAs and thinking, look at that child trying to be like me-ehmm, the good girl gone bad only works for certain people. But hey Miley does say, "Only God can judge us,Don'…
