ZiFM's Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa shares accident ordeal

Near brush with death It only takes a near death experience to realise how precious life is and ZiFM Stereo's Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa is one lucky girl as she shared last Friday on how she almost lost her life after her car was involved in an accident with a train along Chiremba Road in Harare. We are glad that she survived.

Ruvheneko posted the story on her newly created Facebook page and immediately drew scores of comments from fans and followers.

Here is the story as she posted it:

On Friday the 21st of March 2014 at 0615HRS, I could have died. But I didn’t.

Brief Bio
PJ Morton is American gospel singer Paul S. Morton's son.He got his big break in 2010 when his friend and Maroon 5's musical director Adam Blackstone asked him to audition for a keyboardist/backing vocalist spot in the band and is currently the stand in keyboardist. In 2012, Morton released his first solo recording, the free EP Following My First Mind, on Lil Wayne's Young Money label.

Sunset Jazz Band

On the 29 th of March Sunsets Jazz Band will be performing their first exclusive show since their début show appearance at the Book Café Bocapa competitions in 2010. Their show titled ‘Tales and Parables in Jazz’ will take place at the Old Mutual Theatre from 6pm  . The show has been crafted to capture the audience hearts to realize the beauty of the word of God using Jazz music as a tool to amplify it.

The Band began in 2006, Founded by three brothers (Aim Nemashakwe on Clarinet and vocals, Desire Nemashakwe on keyboards and vocals and Benedict Kabasa on guitar and vocals).With a strong passion for Jazz music and the gospel an idea and concept was born to create a band with the aim to positively impact society and deliver the good news through Jazz music.

The band played mostly at church functions, weddings and in Hotels. In 2007 the band disbanded as members separated due to work and Educational commitments.
