Zendaya Coleman pulls out of Aaliyah Biopic

Aaliyah Biopic halts as Zendaya Coleman drops out

Okay, first of all whose bad idea was it to place Zendaya Coleman in that role in the first place?

Zendaya is cute but she is nowhere near Aaliyah, and it's not about the race issue, we believe that Hollywood has enough highly skilled make-up artists to darken her complexion, but physically, no, no!

So after news broke that Zendaya Coleman would be playing the late singer Aaliyah in the upcoming Lifestime biopic about her life, the internet was in an uproar and so it seems that had something to do with the  17 year old Disney star reportedly dropping out of the project.

A source told E! News that there were production issues, including problems obtaining the rights to Aaliyah’s music. “Aaliyah has always been an inspiration to Zendaya,” the source said. “She was honored to portray her and pay tribute to her. If she is going to do it, she wants to do it right.”

Power Couple "On The Run"

The Carters have officially kicked off their summer "On The Run" North American tour on Wednesday night in Miami. While the tour will likely be the second most successful tour ever on gross revenue per show. Many people were anticipating the first show due to Jay Z and Beyoncé going through a tough month between the elevator incident and the love affair rumours. The press even said that the model couple was destined for divorce.

The couple opened the night with their "03 Bonnie and Clyde" duo and went through a lot of hits and albums cuts from their discographies to please the sold out crowd. Kelly Rowland and Jamie Foxx were in the attendance. One of the highlights of the night was during the "Young Forever" performance: a video of Beyoncé and Jay Z's wedding was broadcast on the main screen for the first time ever.

The tour runs through July and ends on August 5th.
