His influence has produced great and popular artists in the world. No single artist – indeed, no movement or force – has eclipsed what Michael Jackson accomplished in the first years of his adult solo career. Jackson changed the balance in the pop world in a way that nobody has since. However having influenced a number of artists we believe that MJ's legacy still leaves on and here are the artists who are carrying the torch...

Editor's Choice: Ariana Grande: My Everything

My Everything

Artist: Ariana Grande
Album:  My Everything
Date of release: 25 August 2014
Genre: Pop/R&B
No. of tracks: 12

Thanks to this album, "My Everything", Ariana Grande was poised to be the reigning pop diva of the mid-decade. Possessed with greater vocal chops than any of her peers, her effortless runs revealed the limitations of Katy Perry and Rihanna -- she luxuriated in her debt to Mariah Carey on her 2013 debut Yours Truly, working mainly with Babyface to re-create the vibe and feel of the '90s. This album mixes it up with some EDM tracks and Ariana brings on a number of guest artists including Iggy Azalea and The Weekend.
